WASUP What a Surprise Creek Loop

Description

This route was designed by Kathy Vaughan and is based on a bypass route that Kathy and Ras took for resupply while on their massive UP loop a couple years ago.

This is a loop course and can be done in either direction starting at any point along the route. The route connects the following trails:

PCT Section J between Stevens Pass and the junction with Surprise Creek Trail between Trap Lake and Suprise Lake

The Suprise Creek Trail from the PCT to US 2

And then connecting Suprise Creek back to the PCT via either Old Cascade Highway -or- Iron Goat Trail
